Ghost Noir: an Original Feature Film Script

The world of Ghost Noir is dark, gritty and dangerous. Though it bears some similarities to our own world in the 1940s, it is an alternate reality with noted differences. Seven variants of demons ? wrath, vanity, envy, hunger, fervor, greed, sloth ? are commonplace. There is no alcohol. No cigarettes. No drugs and no disease. No parents, no school, no infants. There?s also no sex and no procreation. No one in Ghost Noir ages and no one appears older than sixteen. Though this world is rife with danger, demise plays by different rules. Death from old age is nonexistent and death by accident or foul play will only result in regeneration within a few hours. Memories remain intact and life continues. Only if an individual lives a truly heinous life will their regeneration be altered, allowing them to return only as a demon, unseen by most and unable to fully affect the physical world.
