The book is set out to highlight some intriguing questions that might have agitated the minds of both Christians and non-Christians about the justice of God. For example, one may wonder why the Almighty God has not destroyed Satan but allowed him to continue in his evil work of stealing, killing and destroying. This is the reason the book is titled 'Is God truly a righteous Judge?' The author attempts to answer this and some other thought-provoking questions as much as possible from the perspective of the bible which is the only authoritative word of God. This book is a must to read for Christians both old and young and every seeker after the truth for it reinforces our faith in the righteousness and justice of God. Israel Odewale is a Nigerian who was born in Gbongan, a small town in Osun State. His parents, Daddy Michael Odewale and Mrs Elizabeth Odewale were Christian workers with the Anglican Mission. Israel had a strict Christian upbringing but as he grew older he lost interest in the faith because of his disappointment over the lifestyle of some Christian leaders he met after he left home. Through his father's intervention, he returned to the church. He had his education both in Nigeria and abroad. He served in the Nigerian army for eighteen years and left with the rank of a Lieutenant Colonel. According to him, he did not regret joining the army because it was there he came closer to God and was called to work for Him. At present he is the Pastor of Narrow Way Christian Fellowship in London - a church he and his wife, Francisca, founded in 1994. They are blessed with children and many grand-children.
