This book is a commendable self-help learning and institutional pedagogic tool. Its granular interface starting with the Mankon Language sound and writing systems through grammar and vocabulary studies to historical discourse, facilitates the learning of the language. The language learning approach is situational-based with re-enforcement dialogues and passages reflecting everyday life. The pictorial illustrations are an adjuvant for word and scenic "imaging" for easier meaning decoding. Of course, each unit culminates in a test exercise.
