There are many books that encourage you to be enlightened, but they do not offer any solutions as to why it is so difficult in the modern age to truly love oneself, to be authentic and to follow our spiritual paths; nor do they offer us any options for getting the answers from anywhere else. It is because of this that I decided to write my own book; a non-denominational book based on self-love and self-realisation. The message I convey in Light upon the billabong is that we are all God-like. We all have the ability to be enlightened light beings, however we are so often distracted by technology and things that we think are important . With a little work we can resonate at our natural frequency and by so doing, draw all good manifestations to ourselves; whether that is unconditional self-acceptance, soul mate love, purpose or happiness. To do this we must surrender with the faith that we can co-create with the universe all that we need and deserve. There are many enlightened masters that we can learn from ? past and present, but we must be open to divine signs and laugh at the way the world tries to pull us back to craziness. Spirit is after all about inclusion, not exclusion. I am the first to admit that am only a guru with training wheels. I do however, have the ability to see the truth without any religious bias - for I know that spirituality is a love frequency, not a rule book!
