Shania Carter has never paid much attention to the wait staff at the country club until Lionel catches her eye. She is drawn to the man every time he is near, and finds herself chatting with him whenever she gets the chance. He was handsome, intelligent, and sexy. The problem was, he was also white. Shania's well-to-do attorney father was always cordial to white people, but years before he had made it very clear that Shania was not to date one, ever.
