Home Away from Home: As for This World - We're Just Passing Through

What is our destiny? Do we have to wait until death seeks us out to know, or is our final home already within our grasp? This world is not our home; we are just passing through. We are coming to the realization that there is another Kingdom here on the earth, besides the one in which we have been living. We are learning to know the King. We are learning to know who we really are, in Christ; but what does that mean? We are learning what it means to relate to others on a level that does not judge who they are or where they come from. We are learning how to live in this new kingdom, because it is all very strange to us. We are seeing with new eyes and hearing with new ears, because we have been given a new Spirit which has awakened us to our true inheritance. This King, this awesome God and Creator has given us life that we may find our home in Him. This world is not our home, we're just passing through (John 17.14).
