Making Global Value Chains Work for Development - Trade and Development

In recent years, global value chains have played an increasingly important role in business strategies, profoundly affecting international trade and development paradigms. Global value chains now represent a major source for upgrading social opportunities and a new path for development. This toolkit provides a framework, guidelines, and analytical and practical tools for conducting an analysis and diagnostics of a country's performance with respect to participation in global value chains.
