Common Sense: an Outsider's Look from the Inside
Claus Windelev
The book, "Common Sense" is written in an attempt to bring some sanity to this increasingly complicated society. Whereas we started with a number of tribes and from there built a powerful united multicultural society, we seem to be reaching a critical mass, where we appear to be divided again along tribal lines. This fragmentation is in large part caused by the disappearance of old time tried behavioral norms as well as lack of common sense. Subjects such as politics, education, environment and sex are used to emphasize the huge chasm between current practice and common sense. We still have time to put this great nation on the right course, but if we fail what is now known as the beacon of the world will be forever dimmed.
