Mammals on a Mission: 1. the Big Cat... 2.the Little Lamb... 3.the Cheeky Colt...

It only takes a little imagination to weave a story around the animals featured in the four gospels of the New Testament. When we read "...and Jesus was with the wild beasts in the wilderness..." (Mark 1,13) Perhaps he had an encounter with a leopard. Who can tell? Then there is the story of Christ riding into Jerusalem on a "colt that had never been ridden before" (Mark 11,2). This story Conjures up the idea of the little donkey being instantly tamed under the Master's hand. A miracle in itself. Lastly, the sacrificial lamb that escaped death, because Jesus took his place, reminds us, once again, that Jesus died for the whole world including all creatures great and small. I hope this book will be a blessing to all children who read it.
