It contains 24 of Hans Andersen's most famous tales illustrated by many of Harry Clarke's enchanting colour plates and his fascinating black and white line drawings. Many of the earliest children's books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive.
