The Wilderness of the Upper Yukon - a Hunter's Explorations for Wild Sheep in Sub-arctic Mountains
Charles Sheldon
Originally published in 1913. Preface: This book is a record of my field experiences while engaged in studying the color variations of the wild sheep of Yukon territory. It is an attempt to give a detailed account strictly from the point of view of a hunter interested in natural history. Most parts of the Territory which are inhabited by the sheep are also the favourite abodes of moose and grizzly bears, and some of them of caribou..... The contents are extensively illustrated throughout. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900's and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.
