Ralph Palette talks of the bumps in the road of life and how these bumps are the lessons we need to survive in the world after school. When we learn a life lesson we usually do not have to learn it again and each lesson helps us grow a little bit more. It is easy for man to succumb to ease and pleasure but if we keep our eye on the future we can chart a more successful course. This education cannot be bought. As we learn these life lessons our worries become less. We are able to anticipate a situation and make an intellectual evaluation of the situation. After this personal demolition and the psychological trash are swept away, honorable purposes are suddenly visible, and we are capable of more instruction and schooling in The University of Hard Knocks.
