Libby was an orphaned girl who loved the outdoors. Since her mother and father disappeared in an airplane accident, she lived on her own in the Foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. She was sad that her parents had never been found even after many weeks of searching by many people. Libby knew that she didn't want to live in a foster home or go to an orphanage so she began to travel to the various small towns around the area where she had been born and take shelter where she could.. Libby was taught by her father to be very resourceful as a small child, but she was eleven years old now and put all that her father had taught her to good use. This is the story of her journey and new found friends.
