Empyrean

EMPYREAN On Earth, Nye Jones is dead. Yet he walks the shallow seas of the planet Gai very much alive. Bereft of his past and cursed by a prophesy that names him "Doombringer", Nye is entwined in an epic conflict between an eons old evil and the five cities of Gai. Travelling from the drowned city of Antilia to the dungeons of Dra Minyen, Nye is joined by the strange crew of the skyship Zenyth to battle against the unstoppable Kiu horde. In his quest to prevent a planetary cataclysm, Nye must voyage storm-lashed seas, confront savage creatures, solve an ancient mystery, and finally - journey to the plains of war . Above all, Nye must face the ethereal Empyrean to unravel the threads of fate, reveal his lost past and discover his true destiny. A labyrinthine tale of lost civilizations and pirates, alien artefacts and dragons, time travel and cannon fire, madness and betrayal.
