War-mart World

A comical 'take off' of the world's biggest retailer obsessed with regaining it's No. 1 ranking in annual income and reestablishing growth in it's stagnant stock price. To regain the Forbe's No. 1 income position, the corporate retailer turns to a young and wholesome CEO for direction and development of a new business strategy to improve profits and strengthen the stock value. The CEO, Benjamin A. Goodfellow, is constantly pressured by the heirs of the corporate founder to make more money! Ben is faced with sweat shops issues, charity events, union encounters, demonstrations, security issues, government corruption, shoplifting and women problems while striving to perform. Ben relies heavily on his administrative assistant Happi Holiday to work through the issues. Under pressure, the CEO implements a high-end ladies boutique and vendor logo program to boost profits. The young CEO's biggest test comes at the annual stockholder's meeting when the Chairman and ex-CEO's move to replace him is thwarted by his administrative assistant, and her girlfriends from Houston. Ben's business strategy survives and is effective resulting in a rapid shift of wealth to the retail giant. It's just a ladies "Platinum thing"! The threat of big oil companies and OPEC dominating the world economy comes to an abrupt end. Suddenly, the wealthy retailer is in control of the financial world and must help the U. S. Treasury stay solvent and maintain foreign trade. Ben Goodfellow takes his share of the windfall profits and ends his women problem by running off with Lupe Lopez, a Hispanic cleaning lady at the corporate headquarters. The couple departs Arkansas and moves to New Mexico where they purchase a dude ranch and specialize in rehabilitation of failed corporate executives! And, the Board of Directors quickly move to select Happi Holiday the new CEO of War Mart.
