Schizophrenic Christianity

Appropriate for teens through adults, it will inspire even the mature Christian with proven techniques. This book stems from my own personal experience as a prayer leader and is based on the premise that nearly every Christian has difficulty conforming to the will of God. The first chapter explores and defines some of the difficulties we face as would be followers of Christ. Enticing the reader to employ a few very simple methods, it will lead them to a much stronger relationship with God. To the best of my knowledge, no one has ever drawn an analogy between the five essentials of natural life and the five essentials of spiritual life. Air, water, food, sunlight, and livelihood are the natural essentials. They compare to the spiritual elements of prayer, bible reading, fasting, fellowship, and Christian works. Each essential receives it's own chapter. Some other chapter titles are: Grace, Sins of Attitude, and Achieving God. I am currently back from the Philippines where a feeding program among poor people in squatter's villages is on going. In addition to preaching the gospel, we will feed one nourishing meal a day and provide support, (both moral and financial), for small business start-ups. Most of the proceeds from this book will go toward that effort.
