A young man just trying to be an independent trader among nomads stumbles onto a great city in the balance of fate. A friend turns out to be someone other than he thinks and new acquaintances get caught up in the turmoil and pull him in. The forces are rapidly building on both sides of an impending conflict as the main players begin to unwittingly take their position in an epic struggle to come. Unknowingly the great city has procured an enemy far away to the east. In the Far East a great conqueror prepares his soldiers for a long journey westward to eradicate a potentially threatening way of life to his people. However this is no easy task as the spies have reports of the power of this formidable enemy. The field is soon prepared for the clash of these two Titans where great losses will take place. The outcome for either side is never sure and the fate of the great city will be sealed.
