Richard H. Langley holds a doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Nebraska and teaches chemistry at Stephen F. Austin State University. Contributor Bio:  Anderson, Robert Robert Anderson and Aaron Crites are colleagues in the history department at West Virginia University at Parkersburg. Anderson, who received his doctorate from West Virginia University, was driven to take on this project by his personal desire to understand the history of Parkersburg. Crites, who received his master's degree from Marshall University, is a lifelong resident of the Parkersburg area.
