George Catlin
After years of painting Native Americans and accumulating their artefacts, American artist George Catlin (1796–1872) took his collection to Europe. He recalls the experience in this two-volume account, published in 1848. In Volume 1, he focuses on London, where he introduced visiting Native Americans to Queen Victoria.
