When a dark secret is revealed to Smith by an unexpected visitor, the Black Dragons start to turn on one another. This time, though, Smith will not be able to hold the crew together after turmoil from the attack at the waterfall causes him to completely abandon his crew. This time, it will be up to Princess Kathleen to restore the broken trust amongst her friends, rally the rebellion, and locate the missing Smith before John's reign ofterror can break them. Eventually, Smith returns home after a two-year hiatus to Kirkston, and he is troubled to find the rebellion holding on by a mere thread and that their prior enemy, King Harold, is perhaps more trusted by his former crew than he could ever hope to be again. Old foes have joined forces, and a secret spy, known as El Dragon Rojo, is embedded amongst Caldara Castle and could be just what they need to take back their country. People from all walks of life must band together as the Black Dragon takes her final sail in order to bring down this government coop once and for all.
