Lily returns to New York and finds herself powerless against her mother and her psychiatrist who are determined to cure her of madness, but Lily finds solace in her therapy with the handsome, kilt-clad Dr. Murdoch, who is fascinated by her tale of giants, gods, ghosts, and demons.
