Harvey Adams was used to receiving all kinds of animals at his shelter in Central Florida; cats, dogs, snakes and even alligators. Some slithered in on their own. Others were dropped off by people who could no longer take care of them. Today's arrival came with a note attached to a soft blue blanket. Three symbols were embroidered into the blanket's hem; a square, a star, and a crescent moon. The note said, "Please take care of Bananas. He has "special powers". Mr. Adams seriously doubted that this sweet little monkey had any special powers. He also knew the shelter couldn't give it the care it would need in the next 48 hours. He knew just who to call. Peggy Bumbleford!! I know her husband said "no more pets" he thought, but how much trouble could one little monkey be? They were all about to find out.
