Summer Games
Joe Smith
As a young queen, Lessja did her best to be fair and to lead her tribe with integrity. The Amazon war had devastated her tribe. In an effort to strengthen her tribe and the other remaining Amazon tribes she tried the convince the Amazons who moved out of their territories to return. Part of her plan was to reintroduce the Summer Games. During these games, Amazons competed in various combat sports. Old scores were settled and new rivalries were born. Wars started because of disputes during the games. But Lessja wanted the games to build trust and respect between the remaining tribes. Death matches would not be allowed and all Amazons would be encouraged to compete in the right spirit. But when an opportunity presented itself to Lessja to kill an enemy, she had to decide whether to follow her own rules, or whether to risk all to get revenge. The book follows the lives of a group of Amazons. They fight each other, make love to each other, make enemies and true friends.
