Death by Incarceration

Life is often a story filed with tragedy as well as triumph. Such is the life of Lawrence Nicholas Stromberg - Larry. A story of a lifetime of troubled relationships, especially between a man and a woman whose life together began as a beautiful romance and developed into a perfect storm, leading to the murder of two people. Receiving national attention that created a media circus, followed by a parade of self-serving lawyers that ended with a guilt-ridden, suicidal murderer, he finds himself behind the walls of the Pennsylvania State Correctional Institution for life. Realistically, the story should end there. But his doesn't. With two consecutive life sentences for the stabbing deaths of his wife and mother-in-law, Larry Stromberg begins a prison ministry and starts back his lifetime ambition of writing, performing and directing. His plays of redemption, hope and God's mercy for even the evilest person are performed, not only within the prison walls, but also on stages and screens in cities like Philadelphia and Los Angeles. Yearning to do more, he forms "The Redemption Ministry," and an acting troupe of inmates who help perform many of this 60+ plays that present the love and mercy of Jesus Christ in our lives juxtaposed against the evil that corrupts and destroys it.
