Days of the High Mornning Moon

Publisher Marketing: Days of the High Morning Moon is an adventure thriller that takes place in Northern Indiana in and around Lake Tippecanoe where the author lived for many years. A retired Chicago homicide detective, Ragan Yoder, moved to a home on the lake where he grew up and spent his formative years. Because of the influence of the son of one of his best friends from high school days, Ragan was soon involved in helping the local law enforcement agencies cope with a small but devastating crime spree. Murder, mayhem, theft and deception plague him as he becomes deeply involved in catching criminals of several different kinds. Quite by accident, he meets and then falls for a lovely nurse who saves his life in an accident and changes his life dramatically. As soon as one pair of criminals pay for their crimes, another pops up and leads Ragan on a roller coaster pursuit that takes him and his lady into the Carribean and even up the Amazon to Manaus, Brazil. When his lady is in danger, he returns her favor and saves her life. There are many unforseen twists and turns in the story, incidents that challenge him, his lady, his friends, and even his associates in the sheriff's office in Kosciusko county, Indiana.
