Becoming Bgd: a Superhero Tail

With great power comes great fashion sense. Everyone loves a hero. That being said, few people actually imagine themselves filling such a role. After a strange series of crimes start breaking out all over the Quad City area, 18 year old Darrin Greer finds himself with a new set of almost superhuman abilities, turning a once depressed, social anxiety ridden, gay teen with a proclivity for bedding big rig drivers at the I-80 Truck Stop into a super-strong super human. The fate of his hometown is a lot to hang on an 18 year old but the way Darrin sees it, there has to be some reason that these sudden gifts have been bestowed upon him. There are laughs to be shared, tears to be shed, and a twist that will leave the reader stunned and awe struck. Everything is on the line. Can BGD become the hero that so many need him to be?
