The Descendants of John Morgan and Mary Shaw
Lorin Morgan-Richards
John Morgan left Wales in the early 1800s to find religious freedom from an oppressive English Church. He found a new life in Ohio where he wed Mary Shaw, a widow of George Long. The family resettled in Scioto, Ohio on Blue Run Road and founded a Methodist church across from their home. They had a number of children of which included the Methodist missionary and poet Robert Dennison Morgan. This resource uncovers the lineage of their descendants and provides research into Morganís Welsh heritage.
This is a first genealogical resource with notes specifically for descendants of John Morgan and Mary Shaw.
