Okoboji First edition

Alex Gideon is America's heartthrob. His eight movies have been box office smashes, he is rich and handsome, and he has millions of adoring fans. But all is not well. He needs to get away from the pressure of stardom, the demands of his sleazy manager, the Hollywood starlets, and his smothering fans. But where can he go? He disguises himself and sneaks off, unannounced, to the most remote, quiet, peaceful, out-of-the=way place he can find -- Okoboji, in Iowa. Much to his surprise, Alex soon finds the Okoboji is an upbeat summer resort area with beautiful lakes, offbeat locals, partying tourists, and lots of action. And the zany Summer Games, sponsored by the mythical University of Okoboji, are underway. Goodbye, quiet getaway.
