The Journey, Book 1: a Story of the Exodus

The content of this work, I believe, came from God, as He moved on me to write this story and the books which will follow. There are many good books written about the major characters in the Bible and from these we are able to discern their humanness as God dealt with them personally and corporately. My book highlights one family out of the thousands of Israelite families, who made that awesome and incredible journey from Egypt, as they walked toward Israel's Promised Land. The main character telling her family's story and continuing through her children's lives is Leeanna Asher of the clan of Asher. Leanna shows the struggles she and many other people endured each miraculous day of their 40 year journey to the border of the Jordan River. They dealt with family life, social life, faith, unbelief, disobedience to God, punishment, awesome miracles, sorrow, despair, death, blessing, birth, hope and much more. Everyone who has lived life for any amount of years will walk through their own wilderness journey, in the world around us and in the privacy of our own hearts. There is still time to reach the Promised Land our God has promised, no matter what race, creed or color you are, the invitation is wide open to who ever will accept God's Salvation. As you read this story, please open your mind and place yourself in a pair of shoes that walks, talks, feels, responds, and journeys with the people. Don't sit in your chair and stay detached with human emotions untouched. Come and join the walk and allow your heart to be blessed, refreshed, taught and challenged.
