Liam Creedy has not had the best of times at Patrick Freeman High. Now in his final year, he suffers at the hands of bullies and is rendered unconscious. When he wakes, he finds himself in a strange distortion of school life - the building has no main exit, the classrooms have become work places, the prefects are more like police, and no one ever mentions their parents.
