Scott Catalogue of Errors on Us Postage Stamps

The definitive reference on U. S. Postage stamp errors is being extensively reviewed and updated since its last publication in 2019. For the forthcoming 18th edition to debut in December 2021, hundreds of values will be analyzed and updated, new full color illustrations will be added, and many new listings will appear for the first time. Listings are identified by Scott numbers and are classified according to the type of major error: imperforates, color-omitted errors and inverts. Additional information, exclusive to the U. S. Errors catalog, includes known quantities, production details and cautionary notes. Values also are provided for error-like imperforates and printer's waste. A detailed overview of freaks and oddities is included for reference.
