Contributor Bio: Barry, David David Barry has been an actor for more than fifty years having started as a child actor. He toured Europe with Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh in Titus Andronicus in the late 1950s. He played Frankie Abbott in the '70s sitcom Please, Sir! and the '80s he wrote for Thames TV's Keep It in The Family. His first novel, Each Man Kills was published in 2002 by Gomer Press, and in 2006 he published his autobiography Flashback - An Actor's Life. Three of his novels have been published by Hale Books: Mr Micawber Down Under, The Wrecking Bar and Missing Persons, the two latter written in the name of Meurig Jones. He has had four books published by AUK Ltd: Willie the Actor, The Ice Cream Time Machine, Careless Talk and More Careless Talk. The audio book of his autobiography was recently published under AUK's imprint, Oka Tree Books. He lives in Tunbridge Wells and has two grown up children.
