Chickens Come Home to Roost displays a life full of calamities. Jacob Banda's deeds-in this story-landed him and his family in trouble. This is pathetic because innocent souls were affected, too. Sherry-one of the innocent-lived a tragic life that made everybody drop tears. There was a series of drastic crimes being committed by a number of influential people who were abusing offices and defeating the course of justice. Despite some threats to Detective Sergeant Green Ash's life and his job, he worked indefatigably to bring the perpetrators to the face of the law. At the end, each of the delinquents saw the results of their work rest upon their shoulders.
