Brief Description: As part of Star Trek's fortieth anniversary celebration, an anthology of all-new original stories- designed to read like "lost" episodes! Just in time to commemorate the fortieth anniversary of this celebrated science fiction phenomenon, Star Trek: Comstellations is a mind-blowing collection of tales that is designed to go where no anthology has gone be-fore. Featuring the legendary heroes of the Star Trek universe, who were inspirations for all those who followed, this fascinating volume of untoldtales will have millions of worldwide fans feeling as though they've just discovered an unaired "missing" season of the original Star Trek. Marc Notes: Includes an excerpt from: Star trek the manga: Shinsei/Shinsei.; Based upon Star Trek created by Gene Roddenberry.. Publisher Marketing: "Star Trek: Constellations" is a mind-blowing collection of specially-commissioned stories designed to go where no anthology has gone before. Featuring the iconic heroes of the "Star Trek" universe -- the legendary characters who were the inspiration for all those who followed -- this treasure trove of untold tales recreates all the sense of adventure that marked the original "Star Trek" when it first burst on to our television screens in 1966. Each story takes as its inspiration an element of 'unfinished business' from the original series so that they read like 'lost episodes' of the television show, exploring aspects of the "Star Trek" crew and their adventures which have intrigued Trekkers ever since the original series ended. The result is a magnificent tribute to the series that changed the face of television history and will have millions of fans worldwide feeling as though they have just discovered a whole 'missing' season of their favourite show.

Contributor Bio:  Palmieri, Marco Judith & Garfield Reeves-Stevens first sat at the Replimat seven years ago to eavesdrop on Odo and Quark as part of their research for "The Making of Deep Space Nine, " the first of four behind-the-scenes books they have written about "Star Trek" film and television productions. They are also the authors of three classic "Star Trek" novels, including the groundbreaking "Federation, " as well as the soon-to-be-published epic "DS9" trilogy, "Millennium, " about the catastrophic discovery of the Bajoran system's "second" wormhole. In addition, the Reeves-Stevenses are co-writers with William Shatner for the ongoing series of bestselling novels chronicling the continuing adventures of Captain Kirk after his "apparent" death in "Star Trek Generations." The Reeves-Stevenses' other novels include the "Los Angeles Times" bestseller "Icefire" -- hailed by Stephen King as "the best thriller of its type since "The Hunt for Red October"" -- and "Quicksilver, " which "Publishers Weekly" proclaimed "a warp-speed technothriller." The Reeves-Stevenses are also the authors of the classic sf/fantasy crossover trilogy "The Chronicles of Galen Sword, " which is now available in a trade paperback omnibus edition from Babbage Books.
