The Story of Discipleship: Christ, Humanity, and Church in Narrative Perspective

The author offers a critical reading of contemporary narratives that helps readers discern how they might illumine, and how they might obscure, the message of Scripture. She gives particular attention to three central narratives: that of Jesus, of fallen humanity, and of the community of disciples known as the church.
