After he trained at Yale, Gorbaty's early career as a fine artist saw his work in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Contributor Bio:  Ziefert, Harriet Harriet Ziefert draws on a true story told to her by Santiago Cohen for the text of this Christmas tale. This is her first picture book collaboration with him, though they know each other from their many years in neighboring New Jersey towns. Contributor Bio:  Gorbaty, Norman NORMAN GORBATY is the illustrator of Earthdance and God's Gift, among other books for young readers. An award-winning graphic designer, he received his master's degree in fine arts from Yale University and has taught at several colleges and universities. Mr. Gorbaty lives in New York City with his wife, Joy.
