Silver Eagle: the Legend

A Shoshone Indian tribe thrives in the Wapiti Valley of Wyoming. One night, a powerful storm rocks the valley, and a buffalo herd stampedes their encampment, destroying its people, their possessions, and their animals. The next morning, a medicine man discovers that one young brave has survived, but he is gravely injured and isn't expected to live. An injured eagle appears as the medicine man tries to heal the brave. A magical transformation occurs, and the young brave absorbs the eagle's energy, spirit, and will to live. The brave finds he is able to change into a large, powerful, and beautiful eagle with special talents. Silver Eagle, who was given the strength of the tribe and the abilities of the eagle, is to use these gifts to benefit all of Mother Earth's creatures. In one story, he saves a pony from being swept away in a strong river current. In another adventure, Silver Eagle rescues Indian children in their canoes who are about to be attacked by alligators. Travel with Silver Eagle on his twelve adventures as he soars through the skies looking for creatures that need his help.
