STEM Includes Me

STEM Includes Me grants all children access to careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) to promote positive STEM identity, interest and diversity in STEM careers. STEM Includes Me accomplishes this by engaging the reader A through Z through various STEM careers with dynamic diverse illustrations and catchy career descriptions. Readers will increase their capacity, identify their assets and take their position in STEM.

Early exposure to STEM experiences increases a child's ability to innovatively solve problems that are important to them and their community. Through STEM experiences, children naturally learn the significance of working collaboratively with others while using their unique analytical skills to test ideas in a world where all things are possible. When communities afford all children these opportunities, children begin to develop their STEM identity by discovering who they are, knowing where they belong, and communicating what they can do.
