Reaching for Life

Heather King is a recent college graduate from the University of Georgia who spent a substantial amount of her time as a student skipping class to mess around on the guitar. She grew up in Stone Mountain, GA and has spent most of her life there but is presently embarking on the adventure of moving to Charlottesville, VA for 9 months. Recorded in a friend's bedroom, Reaching for Life is her first album and consists of original songs inspired by everything from boys who need to get a clue to a little girl being raised from the dead. The songs are about real people, real experiences and real events and were written with the intent to express what it's been like learning to reach for life.
