And for most of the time, we know we can enjoy these gems of pleasures. However, there lurks in the shadows of society an unpleasant and unrealized reality, one painted by terror and bloodshed. (CBS/AP) A man dressed in black opened fire with a shotgun and two handguns from the stage of a lecture hall at Northern Illinois University, killing five students and injuring 16 others before committing suicide, authorities said. Some of the students were tripping over other students who were hit by bullets, frantically trying to escape the danger to their own lives. It was reported that this event happened from start to finish in two minutes. Time. In practically no time, your life of beauty can be taken away. Ugliness is that quick. It is that merciless.
