Part of the "German Report Series", originally published in 1949. Covers the Russian soldier and Russian conduct of battle, peculiarities of Russian tactics, the Red Air Force and partisan warfare. The material was put together to satisfy interest based on Russia's rapid developments in the arena of world politics. Based on reports of a committee of former German generals and general staff corps officers who all had extensive experience on the Eastern Front during the period 1941-45.
