This is a climax book in the series entitled "Finding rest in a restless age."From as early as the post-resurrection period the Devil has been creating division to weaken the foundations of true spiritual power among God's people. From the dawn of creation God took steps to restore a loving relationship with all mankind. Through one man, Abraham who, though heathen sought after Him, then through his descendants, He established a nation through whom He could enter the human race as Messiah and Deliverer of His people and demonstrate His glory. Finally, the book closes with statements, questions or objections to a weekly scheduled day of rest and shows that such reactions only come from our obstinate desire to have our own way, and not to walk on the path that God has established for the benefit and blessing of all mankind.
