To err is human, to forgive divine.
The writer invites the reader to join him in tracing his life story from the earliest recollection at two years of age through to retirement. It describes a traumatic experience, a number of trials and unexpected and unwanted early responsibilities throughout his teenage years. There were times of heartache and disenchantment suffered through witnessing his siblings being torn apart through his mother's extreme pride and almost fatal obsession. Then in his late twenties, having the courage to emigrate with his own young family to Canada to escape a depressive and negative environment that seemed to feed on itself. They left the security of a home and a good job for an unfamiliar lifestyle in Canada. The life in their adopted country has exceeded their dreams.
