Gargantuan Gigolo tells the story of how a glamorous brothel owner opened up a string of escort agencies when broadminded Spain legitimised whorehouses staffed by male prostitutes servicing frustrated women clients. It tells of the trauma felt by women, mainly in the middle-age bracket, who are left lonely and neglected by philandering husbands, or more pitiably by spouses left impotent by accidents or disease or, tragically, by partners who have died prematurely.
It tells of the highly-sexed men who are lured into the vice game. How an ex-harlot groomed and financed macho guys of varying ages into the intriguing business of sex for sale. The tragedy that strikes desperate women who are robbed of fulfilling their romantic urges by fate. It describes how men about town revel in being highly paid for doing what they enjoy most. But the downside is that prostitution often flirts with crime. Our glamorous heroine is hit by her own tragedy. Her life of luxury, funded by the sex-for-sale industry, is rudely interrupted when she is sent to prison. But can there possibly be a happy ending for the one-time harlot?
